Sarah Wald is a lawyer and educator who gives seminars on gender communication to lawyers across the country. She is a former Assistant Provost at Harvard University, Dean of Students at Harvard Law School, and Special Assistant to the Dean at the University of North Carolina School of Law. She has been Assistant Secretary of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation and an Assistant Attorney General in Massachusetts. She clerked on the US Court of Appeals for the 2d Circuit, practiced law in Massachusetts and Atlanta, and is former president of the Massachusetts Women’s Bar Association. Her publications include articles in the Harvard Women’s Law Journal, the Administrative Law Review and most recently an article on mentoring students, “Real People, Real Lawyers,” in the Widener Law Review. She is a graduate of Brown University and Yale Law School. She is currently Chief of Staff and Senior Advisor to the Dean of the Kennedy School at Harvard University.
